Serban House

The concept of the house was to shelter all interior functions under a single bent plane envelope. In this project the exterior wall transforms into a sloped roof covering the house volume, including a parking lot as the component part of the house, cached under its wing. Lateral and entrance facades were designed as opaque walls, hiding the interior flow from street view and concentrating the house intimacy around a living room atrium, opened with full height glazing facing southern sunlight and a backyard green area.
