Building Restoration of the building on Micle Street
The restoration concept applied to this building aims to rehabilitate its exterior appearance, with a focus on recreating the elements of the main façade to restore the building to its original look.
This building, constructed in the Neo-Romanian style in the 1930s, according to the design by architect G. Cujba.
The chosen architectural solution for restoration includes the following aspects:
Rehabilitation work will involve strengthening the structure of the building, restoring the roof, and reconstructing the elements of the main façade.
The inner courtyard will be redeveloped while preserving the existing vegetation, and spaces will be created for outdoor cultural events.
The roof and attic of the building will be completely restored, maintaining the original shape and pattern of the ceramic tiles.
Original elements, such as the access steps to the premises from the sidewalk level, will be restored.
Elements of ornamentation on the main façade, such as window frames, the plinth, and the horizontal frieze above the windows, will be restored.
The original exterior wooden joinery on the main façade will be restored, and the joinery facing the courtyard will be replicated based on the original patterns.
The courtyard access gate will be reproduced in a stylized Neo-Romanian fashion.
This restoration project aims to reestablish and preserve the authentic character of the historic building.
